Shipping & Delivery

Last Updated: 6 July 2026

At Vanbitious, we aim to provide a straightforward, reliable and transparent delivery service. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, dispatched and delivered. It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Return and Refund Policy, and any product-specific information published on our website.

Dispatch Times

We endeavour to dispatch orders as quickly as reasonably possible. Estimated dispatch times shown on our website, quotations, invoices or communicated by email, telephone or social media are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Certain products are manufactured to order, specially sourced or dispatched directly from manufacturers or specialist distributors and may therefore have longer lead times.

Where a product page states an estimated lead time, this shall take precedence over any general dispatch estimate.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery times commence once an order has been dispatched and not from the date the order is placed.

Whilst we work closely with our courier partners, delivery dates and transit times remain estimates only. Vanbitious shall not be liable for delays caused by courier networks, manufacturers, suppliers, customs authorities, severe weather, industrial action, public holidays or any other event beyond our reasonable control.

Customers should not arrange vehicle bookings, installation appointments, travel, accommodation or other third-party services based solely upon estimated delivery dates.

Multiple Shipments

Orders containing multiple products may be dispatched separately.

Products may arrive on different days using different couriers where stock is held at multiple locations, supplied by different manufacturers or requires specialist transportation.

Separate deliveries shall not constitute an incomplete order.

Manufacturer Direct Dispatch

Some products may be dispatched directly by the manufacturer, authorised distributor or specialist logistics partner on our behalf.

Packaging, courier selection, dispatch notifications and tracking information may therefore differ between products within the same order.

Specialist Freight and Hazardous Goods

Certain products, including lithium batteries and other regulated goods, require transport by specialist ADR or Hazchem approved carriers.

These deliveries may:

  • require a signature;
  • have longer transit times;
  • be subject to regional delivery restrictions;
  • require specific delivery arrangements.

Transit times for hazardous goods may differ from standard parcel deliveries.

Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery information is complete and accurate before submitting an order.

Vanbitious accepts no responsibility for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer.

Where a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts or failure to collect from a designated collection point, any additional carriage, storage or redelivery costs incurred may be payable by the customer.

Delivery Access

The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access to the delivery address.

Large, heavy or palletised deliveries are generally made to the nearest safe kerbside location unless otherwise agreed.

Where delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, unsuitable access, customer absence or any other circumstance outside our control, any additional delivery, storage or return charges incurred may be charged to the customer.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers should inspect all goods as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.

If goods appear visibly damaged upon arrival, customers should, where possible:

  • note the damage with the courier before signing;
  • take photographs of both the packaging and goods;
  • notify Vanbitious as soon as reasonably possible.

Failure to report visible transit damage promptly may affect our ability to pursue a claim with the carrier.

Shortages, Incorrect Items and Concealed Damage

Customers should notify Vanbitious within 48 hours of delivery if:

  • items are missing;
  • incorrect goods have been supplied; or
  • concealed transit damage is discovered after unpacking.

Where damage is reported, customers should retain all original packaging until our investigation has concluded, as couriers may require inspection of both the goods and packaging.

We reserve the right to request photographs or other reasonable evidence before determining the appropriate resolution.

Failed or Refused Deliveries

If a customer refuses delivery without lawful reason, repeatedly fails to accept delivery or fails to collect goods after notification from the courier, the order may be returned to us.

Any additional delivery, storage, administration or return carriage costs incurred may be deducted from any refund or charged separately where applicable.

Delivery Delays

Occasionally, events beyond our reasonable control may delay dispatch or delivery. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • manufacturer delays;
  • supplier shortages;
  • customs clearance;
  • courier network disruption;
  • severe weather;
  • road closures;
  • industrial action;
  • force majeure events;
  • government restrictions.

Vanbitious shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from such delays.

Ownership and Risk

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery to the delivery address provided.

Ownership of the goods shall remain with Vanbitious until payment has been received in full and cleared funds have been received.

International Deliveries

Where international delivery is offered, customers are responsible for ensuring the products ordered comply with local laws and regulations.

Import duties, customs charges, taxes and any local clearance fees remain the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery delays caused by customs authorities are outside the control of Vanbitious.

Installation Bookings

Customers purchasing products for installation by third parties should not arrange labour, workshop bookings, accommodation or travel solely on the basis of estimated dispatch or delivery dates.

Vanbitious accepts no responsibility for losses, costs or expenses arising from delayed deliveries.

Business Customers

Business customers acknowledge that delivery estimates are provided for guidance only.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanbitious shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss including, but not limited to:

  • loss of profit;
  • loss of business;
  • project delays;
  • installation costs;
  • third-party contractor costs;
  • loss of contracts;
  • loss of anticipated savings,

arising from delayed dispatch or delivery.
